The Limitations of Traditional Simulations
WEINMANN Emergency Medical Technology, the manufacturer of the MEDUMAT Standard² and other portable emergency devices, faced a twofold challenge: Traditional training methods always required physical hardware, and critical error scenarios were difficult to simulate realistically in practice. The solution? A VR-based training environment that enables realistic scenarios without the need for actual equipment or an ambulance.

In collaboration with WEINMANN, Immerzed developed the DOPES Skill Lab: a virtual training application based on the DOPES framework that guides emergency teams in systematically identifying and resolving the causes of ventilation problems in intubated patients.

Fault Simulation: Detecting and Resolving Random Faults
